Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
The Bulletin Office ("we", "us") is based in Youngstown, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- From free-trial and free-template requests (sent to us by email): your name, role, church name, email, city and state, plan choice, and anything else you choose to include. For a free template, also the bulletin file you attach.
- From your weekly emails: the bulletin content you send. This can include names of church members and staff, prayer requests (which may mention health or family matters), event details, and attendance or offering totals.
- Billing: our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details. We see only the name, email, plan, and payment status, never your full card number.
- Website basics: our host (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We don't use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or tracking pixels.
How we use it
- To make, check, and deliver your bulletins, and to answer your questions.
- To set up your trial, bill your subscription, and send service messages (like a corrected PDF or a billing notice).
- To send occasional updates about our service if you agreed to them. You can opt out at any time.
- We use automated software, which may include AI models from a service provider, to read your notes and prepare drafts. Your content is sent to that provider only to prepare your bulletin. We choose providers whose terms don't permit them to use customer content to train their models.
Prayer lists and other sensitive details
Prayer lists are used only to print your bulletin. We never sell, share, or market with them, and we never use them for anything else. They're processed by our automated systems; the owner accesses them only when needed for support or corrections. You can ask us to use first names only, or to leave the prayer list off emailed or online copies.
Who we share information with
We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service, and only as needed: Google Workspace (email), Cloudflare (website hosting), Stripe (payments), and an AI language-model provider (to read your notes and prepare drafts). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Weekly bulletin content: while you're a customer, then deleted within 30 days after you cancel (sooner on request).
- Bulletins sent for a free template: deleted after 30 days.
- Sign-up requests that don't become customers: deleted after 12 months.
- Billing records: kept as long as tax law requires.
Security
We use reputable providers with encrypted connections and two-factor sign-in on our accounts, and we limit who can see church files. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you promptly.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, export, or delete your information by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in it or by replying "unsubscribe."
Children
Our service is for church offices and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 through our website. Bulletins may mention children (for example, birthdays or prayer requests) only as provided by the church.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and email customers about significant changes.
